And like everything else, nothing is perfect. Once you get over the euphoria of its existence, you will start to take a closer look. And this is where (for me) the item in question, still has its value as a precious prop replica or becomes an expensive daily toy.
As I have never seen the actual prop up close and so, I cannot comment much about the surfaces not being even. But after I have seen it, I cannot get it out of my head. |
Like the original prop, it also uses these type of hinges. Although i felt that they have made the clearance slightly higher, there would still be some paint problems. I can accept this. |
And just like the original prop, they sort of created these silkscreen stickers and pasted over the cavities. Which is fine but there are noticable lines as if it was scratched. |
The same can be said on the front scanning panel but once you get the lights on, its barely even noticeable. Because its matt surface, these things are bound to happen. |
But there is a very glaring problem here as one of the stickers at the flap is slowly lifting up. And it won't stick no matter how much I press it down. |
